Thimbelina Bridal Shoot

Today fellow photographer Tom Hole and I (with more than a little help from our eager assistant Michael Brunsden) had the pleasure of photographing the fantastic bridal wear ranges from Thimbelina of York Limited designers and dressmakers. We worked in conjunction with Bad Taste magazine fashion editors Lauren Clancey and Alice Alberry and models Tara Minshul, Charlotte Davey, Helen Griffiths and Gabriella De Ferry, with hair and makeup provided by York Colleges Rachel Thwaites (her 21st birthday today!) and Emmajane Kershaw.

Despite threatening weather all we the heavens parted for us and we were treated to an afternoon of brilliant sunshine and beautiful blue skies. The shoot comprised of posed and semi-posed set-ups with a mixture of natural light and off camera flash.

On behalf of myself and Tom thank you very much to all who where involved, the shots are looking really good, expect to see them posted up over the coming week (with over 500 shots taken editing is going to take a while).

P.s. I will try create some interesting wedding themed Lightroom presets and make these available when the shots go up.
