In the studio.

Last night i spent a few hours Assisting Ben Quinton with a few portraiture lighting setups he wanted to try. The AIB studio is very well equipped with Broncolor equipment and i thought i would take a few camera phone shots of the lights and set up. Ben shot with a Mamiya RZ67 on transparency film, using a canon 40D as a digital Polaroid.

Jammy a friend and fellow student offered to model for this head and shoulders portrait shoot.

The lighting setup produced a nice even light with a slight gradient against the backdrop. Bens lighting was quite original, and complex, I cant wait to see the results.
